||Black flexible water hoses that are connected to the drinking water supply (without a back flow preventer) to supply water to the chemical dispensing system have not been approved for potable water. As a correction replace the existing hoses with ones that meet nsf standard 61 drinking water rating (or equivalent).

||Observed the following food contact surfaces to be unclean: 1) the soda dispensing nozzles (the gm indicated the wendy's procedure is to remove them and soak/rinse them in sanitizer--these nozzles once removed the two pieces need to be separated and scrubbed with a brush in hot soapy water, then rinsed and sanitized); 2) the top of the lettuce chopper had lettuce still in it; 3) the stainless steel hot holding wells for french fries/deep fried chicken still had excess grease build-up on them from yesterday; 4) one of the salt shakers didn't get cleaned from yesterday; 5) the lemonade dispensing spout was not disassembled when it was cleaned last night (some lemon pulp was found inside the spout); 6) many areas of the frosty machine were not fully cleaned last night (observed a hardened patch of chocolate frosty mix stuck on the upper rear of the freezing drum, small bits of debris found in the chocolate hopper and on the miscellaneous removable interior pieces and the front cover for dispensing frosties). These items were corrected by cleaning and sanitizing. Ensure your closing staff are made aware of these items and provide any required training. Also, ensure staff use the flash light to verify the frosty machine is clean on the interior of the freeze drum.

||Observed the following floor areas to be in need of cleaning now and more frequently in the future: 1) the floor at the wall under the three compartment sink; 2) the floor at the wall under the sandwich prep cooler and burger grill station; and 3) the floor at the back wall under the deep fryer station
