(Critical) Insect infestation observed in the kitchen. Ants were found crawling on counters, on the floor and in the adjacent restroom. Call exterminator to elimnate ant infestation. Place on routine extermination schedule as needed.
There is a double stacked ge oven that is electric which is used in the facility for cooking and reheating foods. The oven is not vented. All equipment in the food service establishment is required to be nsf approved and vented to the outside if the temperature exceeds 325 degrees f. Request a variance to be able to use this unit including a detailed description of the intended use of the oven listing foods that may be cooked and reheated with this oven. Include frequency of use. There may be a limitation on the foods that may be cooked or reheated in this unit
The interior bottom of the upright freezer needs cleaning. Clean now and place ona more frequent cleaning schedule.
The waste receptacle for the adjacent unisex restroom to the kitchen does not have a cover. Provide a covered waste receptacle for this restroom for proper disposal of tampax.
There are numberous dometsic pieces of equipment in the facility including 2 whirlbpool stove ovens under the hood and the two ge electric double stacked ovens. These were put into the facility without health department approval. There are also domestic canopeners, electric knives, crock post etc. Variances may be required for some of the other domestic equipment including the unvented double stacked ovens indicated above.

Numerous domestic equipment including stove/ovens, can opener (removed at time of inspection), electric knife, enamel roasters. Replace with commercial equipment when in need of repair. For the enamel roasters obtain plastic insert linesrs so that the food especially acidic foods do not come in contact witht the enamel roaster. This is prohibited. Provide plastic liner inserts.
Single service forks found with the mouth end up in the cabinet. Invert to minimize airborne contaminants and contact with the mouth end.
