(Critical) Observed facility utilizing narrow neck bottles for vanilla and simple syrup liquids. Currently, staff are not able to properly wash, rinse and sanitize these narrow neck bottles. To correct, need to obtain a bottle brush and educate staff on proper narrow neck bottle warewashing procedures as soon as possible. Owner corrected by obtaining bottle brush at time of inspection. Owner will train staff on narrow neck bottle warewashing procedures as needed. Violation corrected

Observed both door handles on 2 door upright cooler in back kitchen area in poor repair (handles are chipped and repaired with tape). To correct, please repair or replace both door handles on cooler so all surfaces are smooth and cleanable

(Critical) Observed individual bowls of self serve rte blueberries, mangos, almonds and granola at end of front counter with no sneeze guards or other protection. Staff stated they normally only bring out these topping bowls when a customer requests them, but these bowls were left out after last use. All food on display shall be protected from potential contamination by the use of sneeze guards or other effective means. Recommend installing portable sneeze guard if wanting to keep self serve items on display. Pic corrected by relocating all rte food items (mentioned above) to ric behind counter at time of inspection and educating staff on proper food display procedures. Pic stated that these rte food items will be removed from menu in a few weeks, but they will look into getting portable sneeze guard for future use. Violation corrected.
