(Critical) Hose with flow control device found attached to in line hose bibb under the sink without a backflow preventor. In order to use a hose with flow control device a pressure vacuum breaker must be installed. Disconnect the flow control sprayer device and if this is to be utilized install a pressure vacuum breaker a minimum of 12" above the water line. ,

(Critical) Assorted potentially hazardous foods found to be at 45 - 47 degrees f in the prep unit on both top rail and in the bottom reach in cooler section. Potentially hazardous foods must be maintained at 41 degrees f. Corrected by discarding any foods that are not consumed within 6 hours of removal from temperature control. The unit was adjusted at time of inspection and by end of inspection temperatures had dropped down to 43 - 44 degrees f. ,

(Critical) The facility uses chlorine for sanitizing in the 3c sink. Provide test strips for chlorine in order to properly measure the concentration of the chlorine in the sink for proper disinfection. ,

The thermometer for the prep unit was broken. Replace the thermometer with a new one in order to properly monitor the temperatures of the unit

The interior of the microwave needs cleaning. Clean now and place on a more frequent cleaning schedule.

The hood filters and the outside of the equipment needs cleaning. Clean now and place on a more frequent cleaning schedule.

The prep unit was found to be holding ph foods at 45 - 47 degrees f. Corrected by adjusting the cooler at time of the inspection. Recheck temperatures in 2 - 3 hours to confirm that the food product temperature has dropped to 41 degrees f or below. Continue to monitor all food temperatures on a regular basis. ,

A mop sink has been installed in the rest room. However as previously discussed with the last manager/owner, there must be walls/doors installed to section this off so that it is not physically in the restroom area.

The following non food contact surfaces need cleaning: the interior of the reach in cooler at the front counter, the interior of the display cooler in the kitchen including the sliding door tracks and the interior of the cabinets below the self serve coffee. Clean now and place on a more frequent cleaning schedule.

The storage areas have unnecessary and unused equipment/items. Remove any unnecessary articles from the facility in order to have access for routine cleaning.

Assorted domestic equipment in the facility including the upright freezer in the rear. Replace with commercial ns approved equipment when in need of repair.

Plastic cutting board is worn on both sides and grooved. Replace with new board so that it is smooth and cleanable.

Food employee not using proper means of hair restraint. Provide hair restraint such as a ball cap, hair net etc. To properly restrain hair during food prep , etc. To minimize potential for hair to get onto food or food contact surfaces.

Thermometer for the ice cream freezer is missing. Provide a thermometer for this unit in order to properly monitor the temperature of the unit. Corrected by placing a thermometer in the unit at the time of inspection

There is domestic equipment in the facility that is not approved including the freezer in the rear storage area. Replace with nsf approved commercial equipment when in need of repair.

Raw wood shelves in the storage office are not approved. Paint or polyurethane so that the shelves are smooth and cleanable as raw wood is absorbent
