(Critical) Yogurt in front display case found to be at 51f. Reason unknown as to why it is at elevated temperature, as unit is functioning properly. Pic corrected by discarding yogurt. Spinach in top rail of prep unit found to be at 50f. Spinach being stored above the well of prep unit, causing it to be out of temperature. Pic corrected by discarding spinach, and in future will keep spinach in reach in cooler under top rail. Potentially hazardous foods need to be held at 41f or below to minimize potential for bacterial growth and toxin production.
(Critical) Found assorted utensils on clean storage rack, including knives on knife storage rack, can opener, refrigerated drawers under microwave (not in use), and blendtec blender found to be soiled. Clean now and retain employees on proper cleaning technique.
Found counter at espresso machine to have excessive coffee grinds accumulated. Clean now and place on a more frequent cleaning schedule
Ice scoop handle found to be laying sideways in ice machine. Scoop handle needs to be kept extended to minimize contact with ice. Pic corrected by extending handle out of ice. (Critical) Date marking is not in compliance. All ready to eat potentially hazardous foods held cold in excess of 24 hours must be datemarked with a maximum consume by date of 7 days including the day the package is opened or food is prepared. Your foods that require datemarking include whipped cream, deli meat, etc. Corrected by datemarking those food items at time of inspection.
The container for the blender was found hanging on the splash wall next to the handsink. This is not an approved location for the container as it is subject to splash when handwashing. Relocte the container to an approved storage location. Corrected by relocating the container away from the handsink
The freezers have excess frost build up. Defrost now and clean. Place on a more frequent defrost schedule.
