(Critical) Observed cases of individual milk containers delivered recently setting out in the fellowship room. Also, the two door hobart upright refrigerator was operating at 55f. Corrected by taking the recently delivered phfs (including, milk, beef, chicken, cheese cake, etc. ) to the refrigerator in the building next door with a functioning refrigerator. Other phfs in this refrigerator long term were discarded (lettuce, yogurt, milk, cider, cookie dough, whipped cream)

(Critical) Upon arrival, the dishes being washed were not sanitized after washing and rinsing. Ensure volunteers are sanitizing (per label directions) all items being manually washed. Corrected by providing quat sanitizer out of the dispenser at 350/400 ppm.

(Critical) Observed raw chicken, fish and in-shell chicken eggs stored above ready to eat foods in the two door upright cooler. Corrected by relocating these raw animal foods to the bottom of the refrigerator

Observed the ice machine to be in need of more frequent cleaning.

Observed aluminum foil pans being washed for re-use. These pans are single use items due to the wrinkled surfaces that are difficult to clean. Recycle/discard these containers after their original use. As an alternative to using these pans consider utilizing multi-use containers (plastic or stainless steel depending on the use) to eliminate the waste

The soap dispenser was empty at the kitchen hand washing sink. Provide replacement soap so hands can be properly washed at the sink

Observed volunteers towel drying the dishes after they were washed. Allow all dishes/equipment time to air dry on the drain board prior to placing in storage

No chlorine test papers were available in the kitchen. Provide chlorine test papers to be able to test for the chlorine level when sanitizer is prepared with bleach

(Critical) Observed a container of moldy cream cheese in the two door refrigerator. Corrected by discarding this spoiled food. Ensure someone is designated to sort through foods in the refrigerator at least weekly.

(Critical) Observed raw, marinating meats stored above ready to eat foods in the 2 door upright refrigerator. Corrected by relocating these foods to the bottom of the refrigerator. Please only store raw animal foods on the bottom to prevent juices from dripping onto any ready to eat foods

Observed the color chart for the quat sanitizer test strips to be extremely faded. Corrected by providing a new color chart

I found an enamel coated pan in the kitchen. As discussed, enamel coated pans/cookware are unsafe for use with acidic foods like chili and sloppy joes, for example. Enamel cookware should not be used in the kitchen.

All cleaners and toxics must be stored below and away from food and clean equipment at all times to prevent contamination, pic corrected by relocating food to proper food storage area and relocating chemicals to bottom shelf. Observed interior of microwave oven in prep area with an accumulation of debris. To correct, please clean now and on a more frequent schedule

Observed staff/volunteer coat and sweaters stored on edge of shelf in utility room on top of food items and cooking equipment. All staff and volunteer personal belongings must be stored in a designated area which does not contaminate food or clean equipment. Please hang up all coats on coat rack

Observed floor under upright freezer near microwave oven with an accumulation of sticky debris. To correct, please clean now and on a more frequent schedule
