(Critical) Found container of 1/2 and 1/2 without an "opened on" date and a container of sour cream that had an opened on date of april. Even though these items have a "quality date" on them that is in june, dairy products are subject to a 7 day discard holding time. Once these items are opened, that date must be marked on the container and it must be discarded within 7 days, regardless of the "quality date " stamped by the processor. Corrected - these items were discarded at the time of the inspection. In the future, perhaps smaller quantities of product can be used to avoid excess product that may be held too long

(Critical) Found the hose bib outside to have an attached hose with a hand sprayer attached. While hoses and hand sprayers may be used at this location, the hand sprayer may not be continuously attached to the hose. Such a situation has the potential to cause the hose bib vacuum breaker to fail and therefore, not protect the water supply from possible contamination. To correct - when the hand sprayer is not being used, it must be stored separately from the hose. One solution that is often used is to install a hook to store the hand sprayer and use signage to remind users to disconnect the sprayer when not in use. This item needs to be corrected by the time of the follow-up inspection on/about may 26th, 2013. ,
