Critical corrected: at time of inspection discarded 3 one gallon plastic ice cream tubs of what appears to be previously frozen broth and an opened gallon of milk with a sell by date of 9/5/11. In future please label these food items with the date removed from freezer or the open date, then add 6 days for the discard date

(Critical) Dishes and utensils not being sanitized after cleaning. Dishes and utensils shall be sanitized before use after cleaning. Critical corrected: at time of inspection sanitizer compartment set-up with proper amount of chlorine to properly sanitize all dishes and utensils after washing and rinsing. Chlorine test kit is available and was used by pic to confirm chlorine concentration. Facility has a 2-compartment sink and a separate handwash sink in kitchen. You may use a third vessel for sanitizing (large vessel is available) or if a few dishes and utensils you may wash in hot soapy water then rinse over the same wash sink and sanitize in the second compartment. Automatic warewashing machine also in kitchen; not using at time of this inspection; will send a heat tape next time dishmachine is used

(Critical) Observed several open cups in kitchen. Food employees shall drink from closed beverage containers to prevent potential contamination. Critical corrected: at time of inspection open cups removed from kitchen, discussed with all volunteers / employees use of closed beverage containers in kitchen, such as sipper cups or cup with lid and straw as long as the cup is picked up at the base and the person is careful not to guide the straw to the mouth.

(1) please remove wooden pallets in storage room and provide smooth, easily cleanable storage shelf to store food a minimum 6 inches above the floor. (2) please remove wooden knife racks and store knives in drawer in a smooth, easily cleanable container as it is difficult to clean the wooden storage racks
