Store sanitizers and cleaners so that they are in a separate designated location away from food contact surfaces. Corrected by reorganizing the storage shelf at time of inspection and storing cleaners and sanitizers on the bottom shelf.
(Critical) A y was installed on the mop sink to divert water to the chem dispenser via a sidekick and the other side with flow control had a device to clean the container for the blender for the orange julius. That plumbing connection on that side is not approved due to the flow control device downstream of the atmospheric vacuum breaker. Corrected by removing y and reattching the side kick for the chem dispenser and discontinuing use of the orange julius blender cleaning device.
(Critical) The soap dispenser on the wall was empty and the soap replacment dispenser setting on the sink for the handsink for the prep area was only dispensing foam not soap as it was just about empty. Soap is required for proper handwashing. Corrected by providing soap at time of inspection

Ice in the ice bin at the counter under the pop unit is being used for service to the patron in addition as a cooling medium for bottled drinks. Discontinue this practice as the ice served to the customer may not be used as a cooling medium in the same bin. Corrected by removing the bottled drink
The dipper well was not turned on at the time of the inspection and had containers and scoops in the dipper well. Keep the dipper well water running with a steady flow to properly eliminate the standing water while utensils are in the dipper well basin. Corrected by turning on the water during the inspection
The thermometer in the walk in cooler is inaccurate. Replace with an accurate thermometer in order to properly monitor the temperatures for this unit.
(Critical) Whipped cream found in the top section of the toppings unit at 45 - 47 degrees f. Whipped cream is potentially hazardous and must be maintained at 41 degrees f or below. Corrected by discarding whipped cream at time of inspection
Whipped cream found in the top section of the toppings cooler at 45 - 47 degrees f. The top section of the toppings cooler is not capable of holding ph foods a t 41 degrees f or below. If potentially hazardous foods such as whipped cream and or milk are to be stored in this unit during operation, provide an gel insulated plastic container that can be frozen overnite and used during the day to hold the products at 41 degrees f or below.
The left door of the prep unit is out of alignment and does not close completely with forcing it closed. Realign so that doors are closed routinely throughout the day to avoid air temperature elevations in the unit. At time of inspection all product and air tmperature was 38 degrees f but door did stay slightly ajar when closing. Excess ice build up on the ceiling and interior door frame of the walk in freezer. Replace gasket as needed to seal door to unit to avoid temperature differentialy. This may be causing the excess frost build up in the unit.
The condensate line in the waslk in cooler is not wrapped in insulation. Wrap the line in insulation to minimize potential for condensate to drip onto foods stored below the line.
(Critical) The interior of the ice machine has mold build up on the splash shield etc. Clean now and place on a more frequent cleaning schedule to preclude mold from building up.
(Critical) Bulk gallon container of hand soap found on top of the haier cooler. This is not an approved location. There is a dispenser on the wall that should be filled with soap for proper dispensing. If the unit is broken, replace it so that soap can be properly dispensed. It is prohibited to store cleaners, soaps on top of equipment containing food to minimize potential for contamination of those foods.
(Critical) The haier domestic cooler was found with an ambient air temperature of 55 degrees f with excessive frost build up. Potentially hazardous foods including milk and whipped cream that were being held cold in this unit ranged in temperature from 45 - 51 degrees f. This unit is ordered out of service for the storage of potentially hazardous foods. Corrected by discarding the potentially hazardous foods.
(Critical) The mops ink has a y connector installed on the faucet with flow control devices downstream of the atmospheric vacuum breaker. This is not approved. One section of the y is plumbed to the chemical dispenser which has a built in back flow preventer or hose bibb vacuum breaker. The other side must have a hose bibb vacuum breaker installed downstream of the flow contarol device. Correct by installing a hose bibb vacuum breaker on this side.
(Critical) Terro ant spray is not an approved insecticide for use in a food service establishment. Provide approved insecticide that is indicated for use in a food service establishment.
The inside handle of the walk in cooler is broken and will slide out when door is closed. Repair immediately as this is also a safety issue. There are several plastic drawers inside the small reach in freezer that are cracked and broken. Once cracked and broken these drawers are no longer cleanable. This is a domestic unit and must be replaced with a commercial freezer. It is used as a reach in freezer and not designed for this kind of usage. Found with excessive frost build up due to the constant in and out of this unit. As unit is in poor repair, it must be replaced with an nsf commercial reach in freezer
Paper towels completely out in the facility. Mgr was out to get paper towels etc at time of inspection. Provide paper towels for proper hand drying. Have enough of a supply on hand so that you don't run out. Corrected by providing paper towels.
Thermometers found missing from the haier cooler, the avanti freezer and the prep unit. Provide thermometers for these units in order to properly monitor the temperatures for these units.
The floors especially at the floor wall junctures need cleaning. Clean now and place on a more frequent cleaning schedule. Excess water build up in several places on the floor. When cleaning floors properly clean and dry floors to avoid excess build up. If do to leaking, repair leaks.
The pop spray nozzles have some buld up. Properly clean now and increase cleaning frequency. In the case that this may not be a frequency issue, provide proper cleaning technique retraining of employees who may clean the pop nozzles. The interior of the two door master bilt freezer needs cleaning, the interior ceiling of the microwave has excessive food debris build up. Clean now and place on a routine cleaning schedule. The gaskets on the doors of the freezer have food debris. Clean now and place on a more frequent cleaning schedule.
Assorted containers of foods found on the floor in the waslk in freezer. Keep all foods stored a minimum of 6" above the floor to allow access for routine cleaning.

The avanti domestic freezer is not approved for use in a food service establishment. Found with excess frost build up inside due to excessive use and being used as a reach in freezer in a commercial food service establishment which it is not designed for. Furthermore, the internal plastic drawers are cracked and broken and are no longer cleanable. Replace this unit with a commercial reach in freezer.
The floors in the walk in freezer are covered in ice making these floors both non cleanable and a safety hazard. Try providing removeable duckboard or approved anti slip mats so that the floor may not have as much ice build up and so that the floor coverings may be cleaning.
The domestic haier cooler was found to have an ambient air temperature of 55 degrees f. Excess frost build up noted on back inside of the unit. This is most likely due to using a small domestic cooler as a reach in cooler with excess use. Hot air gets inside the unit causing the frost build up. You may temporarily defrost this unit, clean and adjust the temperature settings. Once capable of holding ph foods at 41 degrees f or below, you may use this unit for the storage of small amounts of potenitally hazardous foods (ie one milk contaienr and one whipped cream) however ultimately this unit will need to be replaced with a commercial reach in cooler.
